MARTIN J. BEATRICE - PRESIDENT | FOUNDER
Marty is Surf City Design's creative and programming leader. For many years, Marty was an executive manager of two large American firms specializing in construction, engineering and real estate development. During these formative years, Marty plied his trade as a Marketing Executive, leading key strategy initiatives for each company, while developing in-house technical and creative service departments. With a diverse background ( a BA and MA in Political Science and minor in Computer Programming ), Marty was able to integrate the worldy, creative view, with the absolute reality of zero, one and "null".
One rainy evening in April 1994, sandwiched between commuters on an express train out of NYC, Marty had a life-altering moment-- he drove home to Massachusetts, formed a plan with his wife Laurette, and three months later they sold the house, packed the kids and van and moved north from the hustle and bustle-- to the seacoast of Maine, bought an old farm and opened a graphics design/web development business.(this sentence is a run-on, much like my life)
Since then we've become pretty handy with a hammer and nails, hit the beaches of NewEngland as often as possible, and embraced the culture embodied on the RT 95 North billboard heading into the State of Maine--"The Way Life Should Be ". Thoughout our journey, we have humbly crafted this business into a reptuable firm that has national appeal to customers seeking good advice and a great multi-media solution".
