THIN CLIENT / REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES

Thin Client Technology/Computing enables any computer to access applications from any Web Browser over the Internet or a Corporate Intranet, without having to install the application on every desktop system. If you've heard of WEB-EX or "GO TO MY PC.com" these are similar technologies that use java encoding to perform similar remote computing tasks. In our system, we use LINUX/BASH /VI Scripting on our custom programmed Linux and Windows Terminal servers to create performance benchmarks much higher than the competition in terms of speed, connectivity and remote access. We use the patented "Thinanywhere" client/server package from Mercury International, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In Thin Client Computing, applications are resident on a central server or group of servers. All application processing is performed on the remote server and not the desktop system. This means that only the screen, keyboard and mouse information are passed to the client desktop system during a remote session on the Server. Load Balancing: To add to this powerful technology model, applications can be load balanced across multiple servers, commonly called Server Farms. This increases overall performance by distributing the client sessions across multiple servers while providing exceptional fault tolerance. Thin-client computing can save significant dollars, time and work rate redundancy by centralizing data and application into one programmed solution.
